Business Analyst Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior business analysts and cross-functional teams to analyse business processes, gather requirements, and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering:
2. Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
3. Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to understand business needs.
4. Data Analysis:
5. Collect, clean, and analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
6. Process Improvement:
7. Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
8. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement process optimisation strategies.
9. Documentation:
10. Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, and user stories.
11. Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and aligned with business goals.
12. Reporting and Visualisation:
13. Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualisations to stakeholders.
14. Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making.
15. Collaboration:
16. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations.
17. Support project management activities and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
18. Research:
19. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support business strategies.
20. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
4. Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases (preferred but not required).
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
