Role Overview


The Business Intern will assist Archiater Studio’s Business and Onboarding Team in various tasks ranging from product research, customer onboarding, marketing coordination, and internal operations. This role is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a digital transformation company that focuses on empowering micro and small enterprises in Malaysia and beyond.


You will gain deep exposure to how a fast-paced business operates, including real-life experience in sales enablement, customer experience, branding strategy, and project coordination, while being mentored directly by senior leadership.


This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want real-world exposure to SaaS product development, system integration, and agile teamwork in a fast-growing tech startup.



Key Responsibilities


Onboarding & Client Support

  1. Assist the PEOS team in onboarding new clients to Archiater Studio’s product offerings
  2. Help prepare demos, documentation, and walkthroughs during onboarding sessions
  3. Follow up with clients on outstanding setup items or documentations
  4. Maintain accurate onboarding trackers and customer records


Business Research & Market Intelligence

  1. Assist in conducting market research for MSME trends, competitors, and partnership opportunities
  2. Support the preparation of pitch decks, reports, and proposals for internal and external presentations
  3. Compile business use cases, customer success stories, and platform data insights
  4. Research potential outreach targets and assist in prospect profiling


Marketing & Sales Enablement

  1. Collaborate with the PEOS team to prepare content calendars, digital flyers, or campaign briefs
  2. Coordinate social media posting, caption drafts, and content scheduling as assigned
  3. Track performance of marketing activities and gather campaign insights
  4. Assist in simple lead generation tasks, basic email marketing, and CRM updates


Internal Operations & Documentation

  1. Support the documentation of SOPs, internal guides, and standard templates
  2. Help maintain internal trackers for ongoing projects, product updates, and sales performance
  3. Take meeting notes, action items, and follow-up logs as required
  4. Assist in cross-team coordination between Product, Branding, and Academy divisions


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Join product planning and sprint meetings alongside Product Experts and the CTO
  2. Liaise with the Business Department for UI/UX consistency and training support
  3. Contribute to internal wikis and resource libraries for future onboarding use


Performance Expectations / Learning KPIs

  1. Complete all assigned onboarding support tasks within given timelines
  2. Maintain ≥95% data accuracy on client trackers and reports
  3. Submit at least 1 research summary, market report, or pitch document biweekly
  4. Contribute to internal communication or documentation tasks with clarity and timeliness
  5. Participate actively in team meetings and demonstrate initiative in learning
  6. Maintain high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and dependability throughout internship



Required Skills and Competencies


Technical Skills

  1. Good understanding of business operations, marketing fundamentals, or SME dynamics
  2. Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Excel, and presentation software
  3. Exposure to CRM systems, ERP, or productivity software is a plus
  4. Bonus: Familiarity with Frappe/ERPNext, Notion, or email automation tools


Soft Skills

  1. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organisation
  2. Eagerness to learn, research, and take initiative
  3. Adaptable to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities
  4. Clear communicator with good interpersonal and writing skills

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, or related fields
  2. Final-year students or recent graduates preferred
  3. Internship must be at least 3 months long (extensions may be considered)


Working Conditions

  1. Normal working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  2. Flexibility required based on sprint cycles, release windows, or client issues
  3. May involve participation in after-hours deployments or scheduled downtime
  4. Occasional travel to client sites or event locations (where applicable)
  5. Must provide own device and stable internet for remote work
